DMT Conducts Site Visit to Monitor the “Thai Persons with Disabilities Quality of Life Enhancement Project 2025”

Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), led by Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director, conducted a site visit to provide vocational support funding and monitor the implementation of the “Promotion and Development of Quality of Life for Thai Persons with Disabilities Project 2025.” The visit took place on 28 November 2025 at the meeting room of Our Lady of Peace Church, Moo 1, Ban Nong Din Dam, Khilek Subdistrict, Nam Khun District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
The project is implemented in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act B.E. 2550 (2007), Section 35, in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Kruer Foundation. Under this initiative, DMT has employed a total of five persons with disabilities, comprising:
- Employment under Section 33: Three persons with disabilities employed as company staff; and
- Vocational promotion under Section 35: Two persons with disabilities supported in establishing their own livelihoods.
In 2025, DMT provided breeding hens, related equipment, and hands-on training in egg-laying chicken farming, enabling persons with physical or mobility disabilities to build sustainable occupations and stable income within their local communities.
The project aims to empower persons with disabilities to achieve long-term self-reliance through vocational skills development, income generation, and continuous improvement of their quality of life. This initiative aligns with DMT’s mission to support Thai persons with disabilities, reduce social inequality, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable development for all segments of society.
