Toll Collector Staff
The Toll Collector reports directly to the Toll Collector Supervisor under the Toll Collection Department. The main duties and responsibilities are summarized as follows:
Responsibilities
- Collect tolls from road users using various payment methods: cash, toll coupons, toll coupons combined with cash, QR Code, and EMV (Europay, MasterCard, and Visa), with speed and accuracy.
- Sell toll coupon booklets at the toll booth.
- Verify toll collections before submitting the funds.
- Report incidents such as toll-exempt vehicles, toll evaders, incorrect vehicle classifications, incorrect coupon or cash usage, road users unable to pay tolls, and other related matters to the supervisor without fail.
- Provide information to road users, including route guidance and details about company events.
- Receive feedback or complaints from road users.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification
- Age not over 40 years.
- High school diploma (Matthayom 6) or vocational certificate (Por Wor Chor).
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work in rotating shifts.
- Friendly personality, good interpersonal skills, service-minded, and honest.
- Detail-oriented, calm under pressure.
- Safety- and environmentally-conscious in all work practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; able to handle unexpected issues effectively.
- Proficient in both Thai and English communication.
