DMT Shares Best Practices in Energy Management at “MEA For Re: Build” Seminar, Showcasing Pathways to International Building Standards

Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), represented by Mr. Panom Jaitrongkla, Vice President – Maintenance, participated as a guest speaker in the panel discussion entitled “MEA For Re: Build – Transforming Buildings to International Standards through MEA ENERGY AWARDS” at The NOVA Expo 2026 – Re, held at BITEC Bangna Hall 103 on 4 June 2026.

The seminar brought together leading organizations to exchange knowledge and share experiences in enhancing building energy performance under the MEA ENERGY AWARDS program, organized by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA). DMT is among the organizations recognized with the MEA ENERGY AWARDS – STANDARD Level for Existing Buildings, acknowledging its effective energy management practices and commitment to maintaining indoor environmental quality in accordance with established standards.

During the session, Mr. Panom shared DMT’s experience in improving the energy performance of its headquarters building, covering key aspects of the building retrofit process, including planning and implementation, investment analysis, the selection of energy-efficient technologies and equipment, and the measurable outcomes achieved. These initiatives have contributed to reduced energy consumption, lower operating costs, and an improved working environment for employees.

This achievement reflects DMT’s vision and commitment to conducting business responsibly while promoting energy efficiency and sustainable organizational development. Over the years, the company’s headquarters has continuously received environmental and energy conservation certifications and recognitions, including the TREES-EB Gold Certification from the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI) and Green Office Certifications at both the Gold and Silver levels from the Department of Climate Change and Environment.

The MEA ENERGY AWARDS program plays a significant role in encouraging both public and private organizations to adopt energy-efficient practices. In addition to recognizing exemplary buildings through Standard and Premium certifications, the program also offers incentives and support measures for upgrading machinery and energy-saving equipment, helping accelerate the transition toward low-carbon buildings and sustainable growth.
