DMT receives TGBI Plaque and TREES–EB Gold Certification
Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director of Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), received the TGBI plaque and the certificate of recognition for DMT’s Head Office Building, which has been certified at the Gold level under the Thai Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability for Existing Buildings (TREES–EB).
The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Atch Sreshthaputra, Chairman of the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI).
This certification covers comprehensive assessment across several key categories, including:
- Building Management
- Site and Landscape
- Water Conservation
- Energy and Atmosphere (MOC)
- Materials and Resources
- Indoor Environmental Quality
- Environmental Protection
- Green Innovation
Notably, DMT’s Head Office is recognized as the first existing building to be renovated and upgraded in parallel with systematic environmental management, achieving Gold-level certification. This accomplishment reflects that sustainability does not always need to begin with new construction, but can be achieved through effective management and continuous improvement.
