DMT Unlocks Expressway Potential through Technology Exchange with Japanese Partners
Dr. Sakda Panwai, Managing Director of Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), together with the Company’s management team, welcomed representatives from Japanese partner organizations, namely Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd. (MEX), Japan Expressway International Co., Ltd. (JEXWAY), and NEXCO Engineering Niigata Co., Ltd. (NEN).
On this occasion, both parties engaged in discussions and exchanges of knowledge, technologies, and best practices in expressway management, as well as operational experience in transportation infrastructure. The discussions focused on the application of advanced technologies and innovations to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability of expressway systems.
In addition, the Japanese delegation visited DMT’s Intelligent Traffic Control Center, which serves as the hub for traffic management using modern technological systems. The visit highlighted DMT’s strong capabilities and readiness to elevate expressway management standards to an international level.
This exchange marks an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation and foster positive relationships between expressway organizations of Thailand and Japan, paving the way for future collaboration in infrastructure development and sustainable transportation management.
