DMT Installs Solar-Powered Traffic Signal Signs at Schools in Lopburi to Enhance Road Safety

Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), led by Mr. Noppon Pokee, Vice President – Business Development and Sustainability Strategy, and Mr. Panom Jaitrongkla, Vice President – Maintenance, together with a team of employee volunteers from the Maintenance Division, organized a community outreach activity at Sabot Wittayakarn School and Sabot Kindergarten School, located in Sabot Subdistrict, Sabot District, Lopburi Province.
The activity involved the installation of solar-powered traffic signal signs to enhance traffic safety in front of the schools. These locations are considered high-risk zones due to the shared use of the road by both pedestrians and vehicles. The project aims to ensure safer access for students, teachers, and members of the local community.
As part of the initiative, DMT officially handed over the solar-powered traffic signal signs. The handover was conducted by Mr. Panom Jaitrongkla, who represented the company, and the equipment was received by Mr. Kornthach Jainaknan, representing Sabot Kindergarten School, and Mr. Niwat Ruangsilp, Head of General Administration, representing Sabot Wittayakarn School. The equipment will be used to support ongoing safety efforts for the students and surrounding community.
This project reflects DMT’s commitment to promoting road safety and improving community well-being through active employee engagement and the implementation of environmentally friendly technology as part of its sustainable development goals.
