DMT Welcomes Faculty Members and Students from The University of Mindanao to Explore Traffic Management and Sustainable Energy Practices
Dr. Sakda Panwai Managing Director of Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), together with the executive team, warmly welcomed faculty members and students from the Electrical Engineering Program of The University of Mindanao, Philippines, during their study visit to learn about traffic management operations and tour the Company's Operation Control Center (OCC).
During the visit, the delegation gained insights into DMT’s traffic management practices, supported by advanced technologies and intelligent control systems that enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of tollway operations for road users.
The visitors also learned about DMT’s energy management initiatives, including efficient electricity utilization, the implementation of solar energy systems (solar cells), and the promotion of clean energy solutions as part of the Company’s commitment to sustainable development.
The study visit provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and experiential learning between academia and industry. It also helped inspire students and broaden their perspectives on engineering, technology, and sustainability, equipping them with practical insights that can be applied to their future studies and professional careers.
