Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited (DMT), represented by Mr. Yotsawat Kamol, Manager of the Business Development and Strategy Department, received the Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO) Certification from Dr. Wijarn Simachaya, Chairman of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO).

The certificate presentation took place at the Carbon Label Certification Ceremony on 14 January 2025 at the Conference Hall, Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), Chaeng Watthana Road, Bangkok.

This certification underscores DMT’s strong commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions while conducting business with due consideration for environmental protection, social responsibility, and long-term sustainability. The verification covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2024, during which DMT reported total greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and Scope 2 amounting to 2,516 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO₂e/year). These data will serve as a baseline for the Company’s systematic and continuous planning and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction measures.

In addition, DMT has continuously implemented energy-related projects and measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, resulting in a decrease in overall emissions compared with the previous year. Key initiatives include the Solar Rooftop Project, which involves the installation of solar power generation systems on buildings, together with battery energy storage systems to store generated electricity for use during peak demand periods. This initiative helps reduce reliance on electricity from the main power grid.

At the same time, DMT has adopted Power Optimizer technology to enhance energy efficiency in roadway lighting systems, alongside upgrading lighting equipment to energy-efficient LED lights. These measures enable more effective control and management of electricity consumption, reduce energy losses, and concretely support the Company’s greenhouse gas emission reduction goals.

Through these initiatives, DMT continues to demonstrate its determination to integrate sustainability into its operations and to drive the organization toward long-term, environmentally responsible growth.
